The Vitamino Color collection, developed especially for those with dyed hair, was first brought to Brazil 15 years ago and is still one of the most used by professionals across the country until this day. In 2015, L'Óreal Professionnel decided to relaunch the range of products in the line with a new formulation that promises to keep your hair color looking good for a much longer period of time. Segredos de Salão talked to Christian Weisheim, ID Artist L'Oréal Professionnel and hairstylist at Dessange Paris Brasil, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, who told us all about the new products and why you should invest. VITAMIN COLOR A.OX: THE IDEAL TREATMENT FOR DYED HAIR

The line designed to treat colored hair and keep the color beautiful for longer has been revamped to hit the market with a new look in 2015. "Vitamino Color A.OX addresses everything that dyed hair needs, keeping it healthy and with more vibrant and vivid color for an extended period of time. This is only possible by original properties contained in the collection's exclusive formulas", explained Christian.

THE NEW VITAMIN COLOR A.OX FORMULAS:

According to the hair specialist, the new formula brings products developed with the same essential antioxidants for skin protection present in dermo-cosmetics. "They are the substances responsible for combating the oxidative wear of color and strengthening the hair fiber, providing protection to the hair and sealing the color for longer. Our new products also contain UV filter and panthenol, actives that prevent color from fading and keep the tone vibrant for longer with an intense shine", he explained.

All the traditional products from Vitamino Color were reformulated and gained new actives to better treat your hair. However, the big news is the new product: Color 10 in 1, a leave-in that guarantees to keep treating and protecting your dyed hair between the washes.

"In a single application, the product offers color enhancement, thermal protection of 230ºC, anti-frizz and anti-breaking action, creating a more easy brushing, with lasting shine, smoothness, homogenization of the hair fiber, sealed ends and a delicious fragrance", listed the expert.

It is worth mentioning that the Color 10 in 1 spray is formulated with a powerful anti-fading complex, composed of heliogenol, UV filter, vitamins C and E, melanin, and fennel seeds, all antioxidant actives that protect the color. "The presence of Keravis and Xylose substances ensure anti-break action, providing internal and external strength to the hair," he said.
